Angels by David Jeremiah......And a Giveaway

People have long been fascinated by stories of angel sightings, yet many contemporary beliefs about angels are based on misconception and myth rather than solide, biblical truth.

As he's done so brilliantly for decades, respected Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah uses Scripture to unveil the remarkable truth about these agents of heaven and their role in our world and our lives.

What are angels? What is their role in God's plan? Are they present? Do they appear? Do they give us personal insight about our work and our worship?

In this broad and thorough survey of Scripture, Dr. Jeremiah clearly and simply separates fact from fiction as it relates to angels. His enlightening findings are supported with illustrations and insights from prominent teachers, such as Billy Graham, Corrie ten Boom, C. S. Lewis, and more.

Dr. Jeremiah's down-to-earth style guides readers around the hype about angels and directly into the "substance of things unseen!"

If you're wanting to read a good book about angels, this is it. David Jeremiah tackles the issue in an informative and interesting way. He explores the different actions of angels in the Bible - destruction/warriors, protect, deliver, messengers, and also discusses the proper way to view angels. He talks about the modern day "angel mania" and compares the view of people nowadays of angels, to the Biblical view of angels.

Though not a fiction book, I read through it fairly fast, and came away with a better knowledge of angels - their actions and role in the Bible, future, and present day. I have read books, articles, etc. about angels, and this book is the best I have read on this topic. I feel the author came off with a completely biblical explanation and view of angels. Get the book.

Yes I do believe in angels and that they probably do appear to people today and we don't even know.

Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Oh you are tough!

I have to say that I guess I do believe that God uses angels these days, just like a long time ago.

Absolutely! Though I think it's probably more evident in some of the third-world countries than here, I HAVE heard a few stories of it happening even here in the US.

This looks like a great study...

Yes, I do believe in agnels and do believe they walk with us but we do not know them as angels, we know them as friends, and family. Sometimes they may be strangers who were sent to us to give us comfort.
This sounds like a wonderful book to read.
Pls enter me and Thanks for the giveaway.

Yes, I do believe in angels, but know it is an area where I lack a lot of understanding. The Bible tells us that we may entertain them unknowingly, thus I believe they exist and are around us.
