Doomsday

Well, it looks like we are doomed. Barack Hussein Obama has become the first black president of the USA. Whoopee ding. I am not sure if it is in God's plan that he got in, or if God has stepped back and decided to let America get what it deserves. We certainly are ripe for judgement, and this terrorist affiliated, Muslim-raised, white hating person could be the ticket for America's judgment.

I admit, I am really depressed. I had such hope and faith that McCain would win this, and I fear that Obama has plans that even the most liberal Democrats in Congress don't have a clue about. How a man who has no experience, and was never even investigated by the media, can become president, is beyond me.

Someone has said that we still need to respect him. I disagree. After all, everyone else picks and chooses what they want to obey from the Bible, and twists verses, or bends them to excuse what they want to do, so why can't I do the same with B. Hussein Obama? :-) OK, I sound bitter. Maybe I am. This election has been the most crooked-run, and it seems we conservatives are in the gun sights of the liberals, and only God knows what the next 4 years can bring. I am a realist leaning toward pessimism, though I did a good job of putting that aside considering the election, but to be honest, I only expect the worst. The passing of the fairness doctrine, reversal of any pro-life progress, capitulation to the United Nations, and more. Very likely, they will try to silence the Christians. The real Christians who did not vote for this messiah wanna be.

There is one bright spot. A lot of Obama's followers seem to make him into a messiah, so maybe he will be crucified 3 years into his presidency, as the real Messiah was, 3 years into his mininstry.

I am sure if I read this post later, I will be horrified, but I am really discouraged and depressed about this. Why did so many people waste their time praying and fasting about this election, to get these results? America is doomed, and will never be the same. We only have a few months of freedom left, we had better enjoy them. Come January, we start 4 years of America held hostage.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
(James 1:2-3)

Perhaps Christians will get out of their complacency and drop to their knees!

Though I am very disappointed and concerned about the travesty that happened yesterday, I am resting in the fact that God is still on the throne. And He's bigger than Obama! Obama can only do what God ultimately allows. So I am trying to rest in His care.
