First up, 99 Bible Promises for Tough Times by Randy Peterson, seasoned author of more than fifty books and Bible studies.
Gives encouraging and wise words found in Scripture to mediate upon. Written for families and individuals who are hoping to not only survive but thrive, during tough times. These value-packed, applicable resources offer relevant and reliable insights to endure the current economic downturn, and are sure to appeal to families in all stages of life.
The book contains 99 Bible promises, all geared for tough times, followed up with a short commentary on the verse, and arranged in seven different topics. I've seen many promise books, but really like this one, and you can't beat the price. There are also other books in the "99" series, all available from Waterbrook/Multnomah books.

The author presents some scenarios of people who have dealt with difficult people, and gives some very wise and Scriptural ways of dealing with it, from dealing with difficult kids, and spouses, to co-workers and people we rub shoulders with on a regular basis. Written in an easy-to-read style, it is worth reading for anyone dealing with difficult people. It may not solve the problem, but will give the reader some needed help and guidance.
Both books were provided to me for review by Waterbrook/Multnomah books, and are available at http://waterbrookmultnomah.com
