NaBloPoMo Day #26... New Christmas CDs

I have bought three new Christmas CDs this year, and here are the two I am recommending if someone is looking for new Christmas music:

New this year, Everything Christmas by Greater Vision, Southern Gospel. It has 10 songs, the first is a Christmas Overture which is excellent. Most of the songs are classics, with two new songs. In my humble opinion, this is better overall than their first Christmas CD. The songs are: "Everything Christmas (Overture)", "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Do You Hear What I Hear?", "A Cradle In Bethlehem", "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year", "O Holy Night", "Sleigh Ride", "I Heard The Bells", "Grace Has A Face (Hope Has Hands)", "There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays", and "I'll Be Home For Christmas".

Also new this year is another Christmas CD from Point of Grace, Home for the Holidays,  and I think this is their best yet. The 10 tracks are split evenly between classic Christmas songs, and new songs. Their arrangements on the familiar songs are different, but good.

I just bought this CD today for $9.99 - great price, and am enjoying it immensely. It isn't far out, and should appeal to a lot of people.

Here is the track listing for this CD:

1. White Christmas
2. Candy Cane Lane
3. Labor of Love
4. Home For The Holidays/Silver Bells
5. Immanuel
6. Little Drummer Boy
7. A Holly Jolly Christmas
8. Joy To The World
9. Not So Silent Night
10. The Giver And The Gift (featuring Jim Brickman)
