An Eye For An Eye, by Irene Hannon, and a Giveaway

Note: There is a giveaway at the end of this review, and you can enter both this one and the Kathy Herman giveaway (see post before this one).
My review:

When I saw An Eye For An Eye by Irene Hannon on the list of books I could review from Baker, I immediately requested it, as I had loved the first book in the series. It is book two in the Heroes of Quantico.

Irene Hannon was a new author to me when I read the first book in this series, and I loved what I read. This book, as did the one before it, grabbed me and pulled me into the story. I pretty much read the book in one sitting, which means I really like a book. Her characters are likable and realistic, and have their issues they need to work through.

This book has a lot of suspense, faith, and also some romance. A sniper tries to take out FBI agent Mark Sanders while he is taking to an old acquaintance, or was she the target of the sniper? The author keeps the reader guessing as to who the sniper’s real target was.

I loved this book, and highly recommend it, and anything by Irene Hannon. Speaking of which, she has graciously offered to donate a book for a giveaway. Check at the end of this review for details.

And if you don’t win the book, get a hold of a copy of Against the Odds and An Eye For An Eye. You won’t be disappointed.

Press release:
“Extraordinary writing, vivid scenes and surprise ending
. . . a not-to-be-missed reading experience.”

Just weeks away from returning to Quantico, Mark has a chance encounter with his first love, Emily Lawson. But their reunion is cut short by a sniper. Now Mark must find the shooter before he strikes again. But what is his motive—and who was his intended target? As they search for answers, the peril escalates. Can Mark put the pieces together, keep Emily safe, and rekindle a relationship at the same time?

Can their relationship survive a killer set on vengeance?

Hi, Mark! I've never read any of her books, but I like a good suspense/mystery. BTW, I hope you know I was just joking when I called you a bigot a few weeks ago. I just couldn't resist that after your comments about women drivers. :) bll
