I got enough swag bucks to get another $5, which gives me a total of $15 worth of Amazon.com gift certificates I have received from swag bucks, and well underway to get another $5. How awesome is that?!
I got to try something new last night. My parents & I were invited out last night after church to the house of a couple from church. They had moose steaks that they grilled on their charcoal grill. No, I don't live in Alaska, I live in Ohio. :-) He shot the moose while working in Alaska. It was very good. I admit I was a bit unsure about trying it, but was impressed. While there, I discovered my host had found out I was the perpetrator of a prank against him. I put a want ad in the paper a while back for a black lab puppy with their phone number. You would have had to be at the church candle light service this year to understand the meaning of the prank. :-)
I found a free download of the card game, Rook, that I have been playing a lot lately. It has different versions you can play. You play with a computer partner against 2 other computer players. It is fun, though not as fun as beating Cindy & Steven. :-) Plus, my computer partner makes the stupidest plays sometimes! If you like Rook, check it out: http://webpages.charter.net/nebsoftware/
Our Christian school is having a Passover thingy this Friday evening. I am a bit confused, but that happens very easily - shoulda been a blond! I thought it was going to be a Passover meal, as did my family, but it isn't. They will have juice, and if I heard right, mortar? Made from apples, I think. And here I thought mortar was something used with bricks. I never knew you could eat the stuff! Anyway, I am sure it will be interesting whatever we do Friday night, eating mortar, moose, or having a service. I am still trying to figure out how to get a yarmulke to stay on my shaved head.........
I can hardly believe Easter is almost here. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, and then the following is Easter Sunday. I am hoping to take in a Passion Play during Passion week. A song that is used a lot in Passion Plays is Sandi Patty's "In The Name of The Lord":
In The Name Of The Lord
Crowds Have Lined The Narrow Street
To See This Man From Galilee
Just A Carpenter Some Say Leading Fools Astray
Yet Many Kneel To Give Him Praise
And In His Eyes They Glimpse The Power
That Sees The Heart Of All Men
And He Knows His Fathers Mind And He Speaks His Fathers Words
For He Comes In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Strength In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Power In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Hope In The Name Of The Lord
Blessed Is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord
When My Plans Have Fallen Through
And When My Strength Is Nearly Gone
When There's Nothing Left To Do But Just Depend On You
And The Power Of Your Name
And When We Call Upon Your Name
Your Strength Through Weakness To Show
We Can Know The Master Plan Extend The Masters Hand
When We Come In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Strength In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Power In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Hope In The Name Of The Lord
Blessed Is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord
His Name Will Be Worshipped Forever
Creator Redeemer And King And King
There Is Strength In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Power In The Name Of The Lord
There Is Hope In The Name Of The Lord
Blessed Is He Who Comes
Blessed Is He Who Comes
Blessed Is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord
In The Name Of The Lord

I really like that song! Always have. I'm glad you're enjoying beating that computer Rook game, 'cause it's not likely you're going to be beating me and Steve anytime soon! Even if you were here...we could so take you down :)
Hmm, I found the game too challenging at first since I was used to beating you and Steven with my eyes closed........ :-)
