OK, my skeptic friends, the swag bucks really does work. I just saved enough to turn in for a $5 Amazon.com gift card, and it didn't take much effort from me. A friend of mine has racked up $100 worth of Amazon.com gift cards.
Here is all I did: I signed up for a Swag Bucks Account, downloaded their tool bar, which doesn't take up much space, and as I go to different websites during the day, I use it until I get a "swag buck" - something will pop up like the image to the left, though it is usually 1 or 2, not 100, and will say you won a swag buck, or 2 swag bucks. I usually can snag one in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Once I get one, it seems the chances are slim of getting another in that time period, so I go to using my bookmarks and regular search engine for that time of day.
If you don't want to download the toolbar, you can search right from the Swag Bucks website. I also regularly check out their blog and facebook for free codes -they gave one out last night. Also, any time someone signs up under me, every time they get swag bucks, I get the same amount added to my account.
There is no spam, you do not give out a credit card, you never buy anything. There are all kinds of prizes to exchange your swag bucks for - music downloads, sweepstakes entries, gift cards, and more. I have been using it for 2 weeks now, and accumulated enough to get the $5 Amazon gift card, and that was without many points from people who signed up through me.
So give it a try. It is easy, and who doesn't like free stuff?! I am aiming to get some more Amazon gift cards, enough to get a free book or two. Help me out, and sign up through me! :-)http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register&rb=360650
