Whiter Than Snow

I went out and "played" in the snow for awhile this morning, shoveled the mailbox out, etc. My boots are in...............you guessed it - storage! So I only walked where I shoveled. I did lean out in undisturbed snow to measure, and as of about 20 minutes ago, we had 6 inches, but it does seem to be coming down at an inch an hour, as they forecasted. I doubt we will see 13 inches, but we are about halfway there.

I am no fan of winter, and especially of snow, but it is pretty. Made me think of what God said about making us whiter than snow. That's pretty white, as this snow looks awfully white and pretty. Thought I'd post some more pictures for my Indiana friends who are just getting rain. :-)

My nieces, enjoying the snow more. Since I was in tennis shoes, and there is 6 inches of snow, I did like Simon Peter, and stood afar off. Since I had to compensate for that with the camera, you can see the snowflakes falling pretty well
