Render Unto Ceaser.....For The Murder of Innocents?

Barrack Obama is on a roll. Does he have anything in mind for his presidency other than reversing every Bush policy on the books? First he decides to close Gitmo, a completely idiotic idea, and now he has reversed the ban on funding for abortions abroad. http://www.onenewsnow.com/Politics/Default.aspx?id=395934 Wow, so this is the change that he promised?! It makes me, and others, wonder if he really does hate this country and is set to destroy it from the Oval Office. If you claim to be a Christian, and voted for Obama, then look on as the cause of abortion is furthered, and know that you had a part in it.

Abortion is a ridiculous issue. It came about because of women's equal rights. Since when did killing an innocent baby become the right of anyone? Women do have rights when it comes to this issue. Their right is to either use contraception, or abstain from sexual relations - the latter is God's plan for unmarried people anyway. Isn't it amazing if we did what God ordained, we wouldn't have abortion do deal with, and sexual disease would be practically extinct - if you wait til you marry to do it, and do it with your spouse only, you sure aren't going to be a much risk for sexual disease, but no, we know better than God - everyone should have sex with whoever they want, and whenever they want.

Anyway, how did killing a baby become a form of birth control? How is sucking a baby into pieces birth control? And yes, you selfish women - it is a BABY! Not a fetus. Life begins at conception, not when the baby is outside the womb.

It amazes me. The same bunch of mindless people set on animal rights, for the most part, have no problem with the senseless murder of a baby. Don't you dare eat that burger, or harm that rat, but kill the babies? Oh, yeah, that is ok. Wonder how they would feel if we started abortions on animals. I bet it wouldn't just be a "fetus" then.

We now have the most pro-abortion/baby killing man ever in the highest office in the land. He made the statement that if his daughters got pregnant, he wouldn't want them to have to pay for their mistake. Hmm. Maybe, just maybe, Mr. Obama, if you raised your daughters in the right way, they would wait til marriage. Just a thought.

So now our tax money will go to slaughter the innocent. Makes me want to quit paying taxes, but when it is taken out of your paycheck, you have no choice in the matter. I only hope my taxes won't go directly to fund killing babies. It does raise an interesting point, and I asked Dad about it tonight. If you could control paying your taxes - a big if - but if so, and you knew your taxes were going to pay for women to have abortions, what would you do? Would you keep paying them? Or would you risk fines & imprisonment and refuse to pay your taxes on the grounds that they were being used in that way. Though Obama seems to like to give people who don't pay taxes important jobs, so you might be ok there.........

It may be a moot point since most of us don't have a choice about taxes being taken out, and we have no idea where our taxes go directly, but the day might be coming during this very administration that we American Christians who have had it so easy, might have to start taking a stand. Read his agenda on www.whitehouse.gov. Homeschooling and Christian schools could be in trouble. Hate crimes will most likely get put through. We could get in trouble for saying homosexuality is wrong. Maybe even that abortion is wrong. Our pastors could face fines for not marrying people of the same sex.

If some of these things come to be, what will we do? I think Christians in America have had it too easy. I see so many people who used to believe a certain way, but throw off everything, go their own way, and do what they want. If we can't stand up to pressure from the world, our friends, and families, then how on earth are we going to stand up if we someday face the lions, or whatever the modern day version of the lion's den would be. If they pointed a gun at your head, or your kid's head, and told you to denounce Christ, or they would pull the trigger, how many of us would refuse to do it? How many would denounce Him, figuring He would understand, and later we can ask God's forgiveness? Surely not! But if we start picking what we have stood for apart, and acting like the world, and looking like the world - if we can't stand up to those desires & temptations to do all that stuff, how on earth could we stand up to real & actual persecution?

As a side note, it seems that no one backslides anymore. They simply find a church where they can do anything they want, and still call themselves Christians, but as they do, they risk their souls and the souls of their families.

I don't like or respect Barrack Obama. I'm sorry - I know people quote the Bible on that issue, but he scares me. I really feel he doesn't have our interests at heart, and seems set on doing as much bad as he can. I cannot pray for blessings on him, as an email from Max Lucado asked us to do. I can and will pray that God somehow stops him from totally destroying our freedoms, and that right will somehow prevail. America's worst days could be ahead. I may sound like a gloom and doom prophet, but we have the worst person to ever run for president sitting in that office. Let's pray that God gets us through these next 4 years unscathed, and that America will still stand, a great nation.

In closing, I am posting the lyrics to the great song "I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb". This post has already gone longer than I intended, but the site I found the lyrics on also had a conversation between a father and son from the music video of the song. They make the song even more powerful, so I am including them also. I have included the video, if you have never watched it, skip the lyrics and watch it. It will move you.

(conversation between father and son)
(Son) Dad, has it always been this way?
(Dad)Well, even from the beginning men hated Jesus
Even thought he did nothing but love them
And teach them and heal them.
They nailed him to a cross.
They thought they had killed Him, but they only set him free
To live in the hearts of people like you and me who believe in Him.
Then came the apostles and most of them were killed
For telling other people about Jesus.
So they tortured them and killed them
And even left their bodies to rot as an example to other people,
But the church kept right on growing
Watered by the blood of these precious Saints.
(Son) But Dad, Did they want to die?
(Dad)No. They didn't want to die.
I mean, many of them had children
Just like you they had to leave behind.
But they were forced to make a choice.
They could choose to live this one life here on earth and reject Jesus
And be damned or they could choose to believe in the words of Jesus
And live forever.
(Son) I think I understand.
(Dad)Here, maybe this will help you understand.

(Song)I have heard how Christians long ago
Were brought before a tyrants throne
And they were told that he would spare their lives
If they would renounce the name of Christ.
But one by one they chose to die
The Son of God they would not deny
Like a great angelic choir sings
I can almost hear their voices ring.

CHORUS:
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
With all my strength
With all I am
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb.

Now the years have come and the years have gone
But the cause of Jesus still goes on
And now our time has come to count the cost
To reject this world, to embrace the cross
And one by one let us live our lives
For the One who died to give us life.
Till the trumpet sounds on the final day
Let us proudly stand and boldly say

BRIDGE:
To the Lamb of God who bore my pain
Who took my place, Who wore my shame.
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb.

(conversation between father and son continues)
You've got to remember the it wasn't always this way.
I mean, my dad could even pray in school.
Of course, they took that away from him.
Then it became incorrect for us to believe in the Bible
And after that they just stripped our right to worship away from us
And we quietly stood by.
But son, I hope that you're never in the position
That you have to choose between your faith and your life.
But if you are - I know which choice you're going to make
Because I know that Jesus lives inside of you.
In the meantime, just pray like I taught you to
And take care of your mom
And remember that God is the Father of the fatherless.

Isnt that the truth!! I have seen some people who "backed up", but I dont really feel they had the light some people thought they had--they did stuff cause the church people did it, or the preacher thundered it over the pulpit. They had no real conviction. But some are doing just as you said, just finding another place that makes them feel better.
I find myself in such a whirl at times. I used to be adamant about so many things to the point of harshness, but then I found so many of those things were not in God's Word, and my spirit was wrong. So I have tried to draw back, and perhaps be more liberal in my thoughts, but then the more I draw back, I become alarmed, where are the boundaries? We need boundaries in our lives. Every area of our life has been designed for them, but somethings can be so murky. And which is my convictions, and what is REALLY wrong? I know my own boundaries, but I get so scared for some people that seem to have none.
Before my Uncle Jim died, he told me that he felt that when you died, if you did not live a sinless life, that you just laid in the grave. He said when he was a boy and went to church, he was scared to death at the stuff preachers preached about hell and sin, and now felt it was all not true, as God is a god of love. I remember telling him, but every part of our life has rules with a punishment at the end if we dont cooperate. If you speed, you get a speeding ticket. If you cheat on your wife, you will probably lose her. You dont pay your taxes--Jail! etc...etc... "So why would this be any different? I asked him. How do people get this mind-set of no boundaries. I dont know if I am making any sense...
....and now you think I am really crazy!!
