Where They Stand

Wow, it is almost over. Election 2008. There is still a lot of polling going on, a lot of predictions, but no one really knows what will happen. I am firmly convinced if Obama wins, America as we know it will never be the same. It is scary that a man with no experience, and such a shady, and basically unknown past, could become our next president. Good grief, Joe the Plumber has been vetted better than Obama. The Palin baby has been vetted more.

I found a pretty detailed list of where the candidates stand on issues, a little more detailed than some I have seen. I wanted to paste it here, but due to the fact that it is in chart form, that wouldn't work, so here is the link if anyone wants to check it out. It does have more info on it, such as posting of the 10 commandments. I hadn't heard Obama's position on that, but wasn't surprised by it. Let's pray that God has mercy on America and doesn't give us what we deserve.

One of my friends from church had a good idea: she said since Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes, she was going to pray that He multiply her vote. Amusing idea, but a good one too. :-)
